Geist3D is a graphics engine and editor that will enable developers to create applications and visualization projects.
Geist3D combines an extensible Scene Graph API with a Petri Net runtime kernel, the Lua scripting engine and rigid body physics.
The Geist3D includes a set of powerful runtime and modeling capabilities. The editor has an intuitive graphical user interface to manipulate 3D objects and construct Petri Nets, as well as source code editors for Lua scripts and the OpenGL shading language.
The rendering pipeline is based on a standard scene tree architecture where different types of nodes encapsulate graphic artifacts such as geometries, textures and shading programs.
