Extremely bright and colorful images are generated by computer graphics systems. These graphics systems typically store information specifying the surface geometry and color for each pixel of the three-dimensional scene being rendered. The stored information is then used to determine which pixels in a two-dimensional image frame are covered by the surface represented by the stored data.
A technique commonly referred to as “ray tracing” is sometimes used to render the stored information into the image. Ray tracing generally includes determining for each pixel in a two-dimensional image frame, the intersections between the surfaces in the image and rays extending from the eye (camera) to the pixel. The method of ray tracing is simulated and many pixels may be “covered” by the surfaces in the scene before the rays from the eye terminate at the scene being rendered. Ray tracing may be relatively slow. To speed up this process, a pixel-based cache may be used to store pixel values or other pre-computed data that may be used to render the scene. Verizon Wireless’ new Verizon Jetpack LTE data service may live up to its name.

Accumulating evidence suggests that vitamin D may be a common player in the pathophysiology of both depression and cardiovascular disease. This study aims to systematically review the available evidence for vitamin D and depression.
